Blues Bash Delayed...

...for the first time in Blues Bash history!


As you can see by the photo, our driveway is a frozen disaster for anyone attempting to drive up or walk to the door. Rick's footprints off to the right were made on Wednesday while our power was out and the snow was just 4" of slush. (He went to the tool shed to get his portable radio.) Everything froze overnight, leaving deep ruts in the driveway. Yesterday we had some melting, but not enough to make walking safe. So the Blues Bash has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Sat.) at 1 pm to allow more time for melting. It's supposed to be in the low-mid forties today, and I hope the driveway melts enough to make navigation easier. Whatever is left tonight will re-freeze and stay that way for a few more days, (with more precipitation on Sun. and Mon.) making tomorrow the best option for a snow date.

Meanwhile, the bear was back last night for a birdseed treat!
