Rick had the flower beds all mulched just before Easter, and they sure do look spiffy with hostas, day lilies and other showy flowers popping up. From the top of our stairs, you can even see the flower buds on the white azaleas below.
Meanwhile, as the sun sets over the valley, we can enjoy the view from our northern windows. (Excuse the screen, please.) Although it was chilly and breezy today, beauty surrounds us and is visible through all our big windows and sliding doors. On warmer days, with the windows open, we can listen to hundreds of birds sing their praises.
What a privilege to live in such a wonderful spot!
