...but it could return! The bears haven't been through lately (that we know of), we've already turned our clocks back and Easter is early this year. Things are looking up.
The other day on the way to Bible Study, Joyce and I encountered "Mr. Tom" on the side of the road. He showed off his tail feathers...not for us, but for the "girls" he had with him! When I rolled down the window to thank him for his glorious pose, he gobbled loudly as if to say, "Get going--I'm a little busy here!"
Today it went up to 60 degrees, so I got my hair cut 5" shorter on the way to do the grocery shopping. Yep, things are definitely looking up...

Wow... that Tom must of been really distracted. I've never seen a turkey let anyone get that close without running away.
