Northwest Christian School in New Jersey has a fund raising auction every year and Rick (our son) won a set of tickets to see the Yankees play. In the picture are Grandson Freddy, his old pal Mike and Rick. (Also, that's my thumb which appears in many pictures.)Alas, the Yankees lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in the last game of the season. But it was a beautiful day in the Bronx and the boys had a great time seeing Derek, A-Rod, Bernie Williams, the Big Unit, etc. on the field. A lot of hot dogs, coke, hot dogs, cotton candy, coke and peanuts went down the hatch. At least enough to induce (non-fatal) nausea.
Oh well, on to the playoffs...
