WHAT A DIFFERENCE A MONTH MAKES!

We are now in the midst of an oppressive heat wave, with temps in the high 80's and low 90's. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, we're supposed to get up to 100! Factor in the humidity, and...well, it'd be downright uncomfortable without air conditioning. Even so, I've been able to enjoy some cool breezes outside in the shade. I do love hot weather, but this is just a bit over the top. Still beats chipping ice off the windshield, though!

One thing about hot afternoons is that it gives me plenty of time to stamp, stamp, stamp! I'm working on Christmas cards and have already done about 30 so far (70 more to go!) Since Lucy, Joyce and Joan have houses without air conditioning, I have lots of company; so I moved stamps and supplies down to the dining room where we can all fit around the table and enjoy the sunshine from the cool side of the windows. Oh, and the cats like to wander in and check on us now and then too.

This is the last post about the weather, I promise (maybe...)
