Stamping Room Organized!

After cleaning out and rearranging all my stamping equipment, I finally have a room that is no longer cramped with clutter! Here are some photos of my newly updated space, starting with a view of the closet from my chair. The closet was completely emptied, outfitted with new shelving and cubbies from WalMart, and stocked with less frequently used items (seasonal stamps, envelopes, catalogs, etc.) It was a very inexpensive solution to my storage problem!

Next is my table where there is plenty of room for friends to join me. I love being next to the window, with shelves and iris carts behind me within easy reach. Since I use unmounted stamps from The Angel Company, they can be stored in CD cases on a revolving CD holder.

Now that the reorganizing is done, I look forward to many relaxing hours in my Stamping Room where I design and make all the cards I send to friends and family.

The pictures are coming, the pictures are coming!

My stamping room and closet have both been reorganized, just in time for my workshop this weekend! I'll be hosting a "stamp-a-stack" for my friends and TAC (The Angel Co.) customers where they'll make 10 Christmas cards for $10 using 3 different designs. I've made all the kits needed and everything is ready to go. Preparations have been under way for some time now, but it's been worth it--even though I'm really tired.

I took pictures of the new room and closet arrangements, which I will post later with other photos of the workshop. See you then!

Getting Started

This is just an introduction--photos to follow:

Fox Mountain is the name of our little spot in rural New Jersey where I live with my husband of 38 years and our 3 cats. Here is where I spend a lot of time rubber stamping all of my own greeting cards, preparing lessons for Ladies' Bible Study and keeping physically and mentally active.

From time to time I will post photos of cards I've made, or local wildlife, or our cats getting into trouble or just some of the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.

Meanwhile, I'm starting out my week with some serious closet cleaning (isn't that exciting!) so I'll get started and post some thoughts later.
